Documenting the life and career of William Creighton (b. 1910), who served as a probation officer post- 1945, later appointed to the position of Lay Family Court Judge (1955). Interview topics include: early work; World War II; probation officer; Lay Family Court Judge; training schools; Ontario Provincial Court, Family Division; role of Children's Aid Society; decentralization of the courts; other judges on the bench. Interview conducted by John Wright. File includes two audio cassette recordings, a transcript with index (50 p.), and a copy of William Creighton's autobiography.
