    Wednesday, October 16: Jim Reynolds, Vancouver Lawyer. Jim Reynolds will talk about aboriginal law and Canadian history, subjects which were at the centre of a more than 40-year legal practice representing First Nations, especially the Musqueam of Vancouver. He has written a number of books, including Aboriginal Peoples and the Law: A Critical Introduction (Vancouver: UBC Press/Purich, 2018) and From Wardship To Rights: The Guerin Case and Aboriginal Law (Vancouver: UBC Press, 2020).;

      Wednesday, November 6: Conversation with Harry Arthurs. Professor Arthurs will discuss legal education, past, present and future, in a pre-recorded interview with Philip Girard. The interview will be followed by comments from three discussants and comments and questions from the audience.

        Thursday, November 14: Student Talk with Professor Phillip Girard, titled “Bora Laskin: Herald of Today’s Canada.” Professor Girard is Professor Emeritus at Osgoode Hall Law School and the author of the award-winning book Bora Laskin: Bringing Law to Life. A reception will follow the talk. All student attendees will receive a free membership to the Osgoode Society for Canadian Legal History. Please note this event is open to law students attending the University of Toronto Law School, York University -Osgoode Hall Law School or Toronto Metropolitan University – Lincoln Alexander School of Law.
