Estey (1919-2002), a lawyer originally from Saskatchewan who, after moving to Ontario to practice law, was appointed to the Ontario Court of Appeal (1973), later becoming Chief Justice of Ontario (1976), and he was appointed to the Supreme Court of Canada in 1977 (until 1988).
