Prof. Jim Phillips

Jim Phillips is Professor of Law and History at the University of Toronto, and Editor-in-Chief of the Osgoode Society. He will speak about the book he is currently writing, a socio-legal history of women’s status, marriage breakdown, civil litigation and parliamentary divorce in Ontario in the 1870s. Currently tentatively scheduled for Wednesday February 28^th.
